This is an English translation of the Russian document. If they differ, the Russian version prevails.

1. Who processes the data

The personal data operator is not filled in: operator_name in nera_server.ini, TIN (INN) not filled in: operator_inn in nera_server.ini (the “operator”). NERA Clip (also called NERA) is a service for streamers: a desktop app, the Telegram bot @neraclipbot, NERA Studio and the website https://neraclip.ru. Contact email: not filled in: operator_email in nera_server.ini. Address: listed in the company details.

This policy covers all data the operator receives from NERA Clip users.

2. What data we process

• Telegram: numeric ID, name and username, if they are public in your profile; when you sign in with VK ID — your VK ID and name;
• the ID of the computer running the app (a random identifier the app creates itself) and the app version;
• usage statistics: how many streams, clips, posts and errors, stream maps — numbers and timestamps only, no video or audio;
• platform keys you sent to the bot yourself — encrypted;
• access to platforms you connected in NERA Studio (TikTok, YouTube, VK, Instagram*): access tokens (encrypted), account ID and name on the platform, avatar and statistics of videos posted through NERA Clip;
• video you sent to NERA Clip yourself: a video from your phone, a recording for cutting on our server, clips for posting through the server — only while it is needed (see section 6 for how long);
• support requests: the text you wrote and the screenshots you attached;
• words for the shared dictionary — only the word and two numbers, without the stream transcript; this can be turned off in the app settings;
• technical data: the NERA Studio sign-in cookie and server log entries;
• clicks on NERA short links (from sellers' ads and ads in clips): to tell a repeat click by the same person from a new one, the server keeps an anonymised fingerprint in memory for one day — the address, browser and language mixed with a random daily key; neither the address nor the browser is written down, the database holds only numbers (how many clicks and people, at what hour, from a phone or a computer);
• if a seller put the NERA script on their own site: a random click number (kept in the visitor's browser on the seller's site for up to 30 days) and a “lead” or “sale” mark with the amount — no name, phone or other buyer data;
• ad covers: images a seller uploaded to the variants of their ad — on the NERA server until the seller deletes the variant or the ad; they open by link because they appear in that ad's posts.

Usually clips are cut on your computer, and stream video never reaches us. Video is on our server only if you chose such a feature yourself. We do not process special categories of personal data or biometrics.

3. Why

• to let you use NERA Clip: link your computer to Telegram, send you clips, reports and notifications, and run commands from NERA Studio;
• to publish clips to the platforms you connected — on your command or on the posting plan you turned on — and to show the statistics of those videos;
• to pick posting times for your videos from their own statistics and from when your streams start, and to draw general conclusions about posting times — only anonymized, without names or accounts;
• to answer support requests;
• to grant the trial period and referral days;
• to improve moment selection with the shared dictionary — anonymized;
• to keep the service secure and protect it from abuse.

4. Legal basis

Consent to personal data processing is a separate document: https://neraclip.ru/en/consent. It is given with a separate button in the bot and is not combined with accepting the terms.

5. What we do with the data

Collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification, use, transfer in the cases listed in section 7, anonymization, blocking, deletion and destruction. Processing is automated.

6. Where and how long it is stored

Data is stored on a server in Russia. We keep it while you use NERA Clip. After you withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days unless the law requires keeping it longer. Stream maps — the last 30 at most; server logs — no longer than 30 days.

Video on the server: a video from your phone — until your computer picks it up, no longer than 24 hours (an incomplete upload — 6 hours); a recording for server-side cutting is deleted right after cutting, its clips — after 3 days; a clip for posting through the server — while it waits to be posted and one more week after the last post.

Database backups for recovery are kept on the same server: the last 10.

7. Who we share it with

• Telegram — the bot works through Telegram, and its messages to you pass through Telegram servers. Telegram processes data under its own rules;
• the platforms you connected (TikTok, YouTube, VK, Instagram*) — the video, caption and post settings when you publish a video or have turned on a posting plan; posts are made on behalf of your account;
• a hosting provider in Russia — as the infrastructure the server runs on;
• government authorities — only when required by law.

Telegram and platform servers may be located outside Russia. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.

8. Platforms you connect

Connecting is always your action: you sign in to the platform yourself and grant NERA Clip specific permissions. Access is used only for what you see in NERA Studio: showing which account is connected, publishing the videos you chose and showing their statistics.

TikTok. On TikTok the app is called NERA Clip. We receive your account ID, display name and avatar, the posting settings TikTok returns before each post (who can view the video, whether comments, Duet and Stitch are allowed, the maximum video length) and the post status. We publish only after you choose who can view the video and confirm the post; drafts go to your TikTok inbox, and you publish them yourself. You can disconnect in NERA Studio or in the app permissions section of your TikTok settings.

YouTube. NERA Clip uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy. We receive your channel ID and name, access tokens for uploading videos and statistics of your videos (YouTube Analytics). Besides removing the channel in NERA Studio, you can revoke NERA Clip's access to your Google data on the Google security settings page. NERA Clip's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

VK — community or account ID and name, and access tokens. Instagram* — professional account ID and name, and access tokens; Meta's data deletion requests are fulfilled automatically.

Access tokens are stored encrypted on a server in Russia and are shared with no one except the platform itself. When you remove an account in NERA Studio, its tokens are deleted immediately.

Best time. To pick when to post, NERA compares each of your videos' first-day views with your usual level — by the hour it went out — and looks at when your streams usually start. General conclusions for everyone are only aggregated shares by hour and platform — no names, accounts or video titles — and only once there is data from at least 50 videos and 5 creators. YouTube figures are not used in these calculations or conclusions until Google allows NERA to compute its own metrics from YouTube data. You can erase your videos' statistics at NERA in NERA Studio: Highlights → Delete my statistics — immediately; nothing changes on the platforms themselves.

Keyword replies. If a creator turned on keyword replies in NERA Clip and you wrote the keyword in a comment under their post, NERA replies: in Telegram the bot answers under your comment with a button (tap it and the bot sends you the creator's material in DMs); in Instagram* NERA sends one Direct message and a short reply under your comment. Instead of your account number we store a tag from which it can't be read, plus the keyword and time — only to reply once. NERA only checks the comment text for the keyword; the chat and comment numbers are used to reply and are not stored.

* Instagram is owned by Meta, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in Russia.

9. Cookies

The site uses one cookie — nera_session: it keeps you signed in to NERA Studio (up to 30 days or until you sign out). There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

10. Your rights

• to know what data about you we process and why;
• to ask us to correct, block or delete your data;
• to withdraw your consent;
• to appeal our actions to Roskomnadzor (the Russian data protection authority) or in court.

11. Security

Connections to the site and the bot are encrypted (HTTPS). Platform keys are stored encrypted. Only the operator has access to the server. The app and the server are kept up to date, and the database is backed up before every update.
